About what I did in Cambodia

My Contribution

In June 2025, as a member of Angels for the Journey, I went to Cambodia to help address gaps in Cambodian children's access to education. We visited three rural schools in Siem Reap, teaching English, leading discussions, and sharing Korean culture through traditional games. We donated phones, funds, and books to students.

Afterward, we collected books from home and from school, gathering over 160 books and helping fund and coordinate the creation of three community libraries in Siem Reap — continuing the effort remotely while recovering from an injury. One student I supported, Sokchanra Hun, is now attending Reed College to study Psychology, crediting our support as part of her inspiration.

I later led online classes teaching Korean language and culture to students in Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

Going back to my school, I am trying to gather books once again for students in Cambodia and further expand this inspiration for all the children, ultimately working toward educational equality.
